AMP Happenings for the Week of May 25th

Howdy AMP families and students,

The final week for the 2019-2020 school year has finally arrived! This is the final edition of the weekly AMP Happenings for this school year. The following are important events and happenings for the week of May 25th.

Memorial Day Holiday
NEISD will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. 

2020 AMP Awards Gala
The 2020 AMP Awards Gala was broadcasted this past week on our AMP YouTube Channel. 
Students were recognized for their accomplishments in Leadership Development Events, Supervised Agricultural Experiences, Proficiency Awards, Star Membership Degrees, and Specialty Awards. Members also got to see their "Year in Review" video and a very touching Senior Tribute to the Class of 2020.

Another highlight from the Awards Gala was the recognition of our graduating seniors that were awarded over $179,000 in scholarships by the James Madison FFA Booster Club and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.

Final Payment Deadline for Livestock Projects
Students that will be raising and exhibiting livestock at the 2020 North East Ag Fair Livestock Show (JV animals) or any major livestock shows must make their final payment of fees between 11:00AM to 1:00PM or 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Thusday, June 11th in the main parking lot of the AMP.
