AMP Happenings for the Week of March 16th

Howdy AMP families and students,

As you are most likely aware, based on the continued spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and the San Antonio mayor’s prohibition of gatherings of 500 or more people, all NEISD campuses, like other area school districts, will be closed March 16-20, 2020. All school events and practices will also be canceled.

In addition, NEISD Executive Staff have also restricted student activities to during the school day only (8:55am to 4:15pm) through March 30th. This means that there can be no before school, after school or weekend activities to include tutoring, practices, competitions, traveling, etc. Our AMP staff will be communicating directly with those families and students that these restrictions affect. 

Therefore, the following events and happenings for the weeks of March 16th through March 30th have been postponed or canceled.

Upcoming Events 

• March 16th - 20th - All NEISD campuses will be closed
• March 21st - James Madison FFA Invitational Career Development Events POSTPONED (date to be determined)
• March 23rd - James Madison FFA Letter Jacket Fitting and Ordering POSTPONED (date to be determined)
• March 23rd - James Madison FFA Booster Club Meeting and Chapter FFA Degree Ceremony @ 6:30pm CANCELED
• March 28th - James Madison High School Spring Fair @ DEMAC CANCELED
• April 4th - JM FFA Booster Club Scholarship Spring Fling Social from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at the Voigt Center in Hollywood Park, TX CANCELED
