Howdy AMP families and students, The following are important events and happenings for the week of September 28th. Upcoming Events
Phase 3 is Coming - NEISD School Phase-In Plan NEISD is anticipating to move to Phase 3 of its school phase-in plan the week of October 5th allowing up to 15 students per classroom. Phase 3 will also begin the blended instruction model with students that are on campus receiving in-person instruction from their teachers and students remaining in distance learning receiving instruction virtually. Students that are on campus during the instructional day will be rotating to their assigned classes. Parents/guardians, if your student has been struggling with attendance to online classes and is not being successful with grades in their courses, we strongly recommend that you consider having your student return to in-person instruction during Phase 3. To have your student considered for return during Phase 3, please send an email to Mrs. Guerrero ([email protected]) or Mr. Stewart ([email protected]) with your student's name, grade level, and NEISD ID number. 2020-2021 James Madison FFA Membership Fee - 60% Paid! A reminder that the $20.00 FFA membership fee for the 2020-2021 school year was posted to student accounts on August 24, 2020 via the NEISD School Cash Online app. If you have not done so, parents/guardians will need to register with NEISD School Cash Online to pay this fee. AMP students that have already made a payment of FFA membership fees prior to August 24, 2020 will not see a FFA membership fee posted to their student account. As of last week, we have reached 60% towards our goal of having 100% of the AMP student body pay their membership fee! REMINDER - every student that pays their FFA membership fee will receive a FFA Chapter T-shirt. September Community Service Opportunity The James Madison FFA officers invite the AMP students to take part in this month's community service opportunity called "Make a Senior's Day!"
